BIG GUNS: Deadpool & Punisher Go to War (This Won't End Well)
June 16, 2026

Well, the alarm went off, the clock hit 6:16, and Marvel finally stopped teasing and started shooting. That “very special announcement” at Marvel.com/616? Oh, it's special alright. Say hello to BIG GUNS — and yes, the tagline is still “This won't end well,” because accuracy matters.

Here's the damage report, Buttercups: BIG GUNS is a calamitous FOUR-part Deadpool and Punisher crossover — a self-described “two-month spectacle of violence” landing September and October 2026. Writing duties go to Benjamin Percy, with art by Geoff Shaw and José Luis Soares. Translation: me and Frank, nine years after our 2017 dust-up, doing what we do best — ruining each other's day in glorious fashion.
And they're telling it across BOTH our books, because of course they are. Part 1 kicks off in Wade Wilson: Deadpool #8 — that's me, the handsome one with the better one-liners.

Then Part 2 rolls into The Punisher #8, where Frank gets to brood with a skull on his chest like it's a whole personality. Connecting covers, naturally — line them up and the chaos becomes one big, beautiful, heavily-armed mess.

Will it end well? It is LITERALLY in the marketing that it won't. Will I read every page faster than Frank can reload? You bet your chimichangas. Mark your calendar for September and let's watch two grown men with too many guns settle a nine-year grudge.
Meanwhile, I'm right here in Dallas — fully suited, fully unhinged, and available for your next event. Birthday, corporate shindig, charity gig, con appearance… if you want the guy in red (the fun one), you know where the booking button is. — The Dallas Deadpool
